Bowling Shoe Gift Ideas

When it comes to shoes, there are tons and tons of options out there and it really depends on what you or your loved one is looking for this Holiday season. There are options in all different designs, colors, and price points. So this post will be pretty short and pretty sweet, but I will be mentioning each company’s best low end show and their best high end shoe.

Dexter:

Men’s High End — SST6 Boa. Easily my favorite Dexter. The color is a little flashy, but the overall fit and design is wonderful. Additionally, the construction and BOA system is new and interesting, and I think Dexter did a wonderful job.

Men’s Low End — Keegan Plus. A clean silhouette and offered in both Left and Right handed variances. It is a definite step up from entry level shoes without breaking the bank.

Women’s High End — SST8 LE. Still one of my favorite women’s shoes ever. The design is great and the quality is good. I think it is the classiest, most retro design that Dexter offers.

Women’s Low End — Groove III. Like all the Grooves from Dexter, this one is simple, clean, and black and white. I personally like the look of it as much as any entry level shoe on the market.

Hammer:

Men’s High End — Boss. In terms of comfort, the Forces were wonderful, but, for me, I drug my toe pretty badly, which caused issues. However, the new Boss from Hammer brings the same comfortability the Force brought, but a more durable midsole.

Women’s High End — Vixen. Still arguably the best value on the market. Great quality and performance for a sub-$100.00 shoe.

KR Strikeforce:

Men’s: Raptor. These are a great option for bowlers looking for a better shoe, but that don’t want to break the bank on a pair of truly high end shoes.

Women’s: KR has tons of new models out, but none have been as well received as the Lace. Women seem to love their design and comfort. They’re light, breathable, and very, very pliable.

Brunswick:

Men’s High End: Men’s Team Brunswick. Brunswick’s only truly high end men’s shoe comes with everything you need — and then some. For the price, you get tons of interchangeable soles and heels that will surely fit you or your loved one’s needs.

Men’s Low End: Frenzy. All of the colors have sold well in our shops. They feature soft uppers and comfortable insoles. They come in a variety of colors, and they hold up very well.

Women’s High End: Women’s Team Brunswick. Everything I said about the Men’s in a smaller, sleeker, whiter shoe.

Women’s Low End: Karma/Karma Sport. No shoe gets more questions or praise than these. Nearly every woman that comes looking for shoes asks to see these in their size. They’re stylish and very soft.

3G:

Men’s: Men’s Tour Ultra. As good as any shoe on the market. In my opinion the best leather quality in the industry. In addition, their rugged toe cap offers tremendous durability sure to hold up to any and all toe draggers.

Women’s: Women’s Tour Ultra. Again, everything I said about the men’s version, but in brighter, louder colors.
