Roto Grip Tour Dynam-X vs Roto Grip Hyped Solid vs 900 Global Xponent | Luke Rosdahl

This is a comparison of the Tour Dynam-X to the XPonent to the Hyped Solid bowling balls!

Roto Grip Tour Dynam-X Bowling Ball

From day one, the end goal was to develop and create a high-performance ball from a completely different dynamic performance-focused perspective. Tour level players and above average bowlers from around the globe have always asked for a ball that produces control and continuation with minimal direction change in order to battle those tougher and more demanding and over reacting conditions. They spoke, we listened! So, we went to work to formulate and create the ultimate “TOUR PLAYER” ball.

And truth be told, after months and months of trials and errors, we were finally able to construct the optimum control and continuation for every style of bowler no matter their rev rate. Control, stability, and versatility unified into one dynamic ball that is a must for every single serious or semi-serious bowler.

Rondure Core

When a symmetrical core shape just isn’t enough or quite right, and a big asymmetrical core shape is just flat out too much, the answer is simple – the Mild-Asymmetric Rondure Tour Core. Why is this version considered a “Tour” model you ask? We thought you would never ask. From the original version of this shape previously introduced and used in the Rubicon™ Series, we changed the core values significantly to create a faster revving version that stays on-line easier and longer with less change of direction due to the Differential value being cut in half.

So, no matter how you throw this ball, whether you have a super high rev rate or a super low rev rate, or a rev rate somewhere in the middle, this Low RG, Low Differential, Mild Asymmetric Differential core produces a constant stable motion off your hand and all the way through the pin deck.

Experience maximum control over your bowling shots with the 900 Global Xponent Bowling Ball – the ultimate solution for stylish strikes every time! Tailored to provide excellent down-lane reaction and versatile performance across a range of lane conditions, this ball is perfect for bowlers of any level of expertise.

The XPonent is going to be the perfect first ball out of the bag and benchmark piece within the Global line! This ball features a hand-crafted mix of older and newer technology. The ALL-NEW Reserve Blend 701 Cover has been paired with the Shrapnel 2.0 Symmetric Core to create an optimal shape on medium conditions.

SHRAPNEL 2.0 SYMMETRIC CORE

The incredibly predictable Shrapnel 2.0 Symmetric Core is the exact same technology previously used in the Ordnance C4. This low RG/medium differential core will rev up quickly and produce a very even and continuous shape on the lane. With its single density construction, the baseline reaction this core creates will match up to a variety of styles across a broad spectrum of patterns.

Reserve Blend 701 Solid Cover

When looking to create the perfect benchmark ball, a solid shell is a must. Enter the Reserve Blend 701 Solid Cover. Multiple newly discovered additives have been added to our proven covers to create something truly unique. A solid cover that is very smooth in its nature, but not lacking in backend shape. With it’s 4000-Grit Abralon® finish, the XPonent will read any medium pattern with ease.

Roto Grip Hyped Solid Bowling Ball

Following the footsteps of the versions before it, the HYPED SOLID is here to compliment the HP2 Line of balls. Its VTC™ (Versatile Traction Control) Solid coverstock will provide earlier traction on the lane than previous versions making it ideal for just a little more oil, or, making it the perfect ball when the friction down lane seems unmanageable and you need more overall control. This ball definitely takes VERSATILITY to the MAX! So if you weren’t already excited, now is the time you should get HYPED!

Engineered For – Medium Oil conditions

From the beginning, the end goal for the Hyped Core was to create a core design that would provide us more overall ball motion than the Hustle Core found in the HP1 Line, while also creating a viable step down option (less performance) than the motions found from our HP3 Line of balls. In the end, our R&D Team hit it out of the park with creating a core shape that provides medium flare and the ideal ball motion for the HP2 Line of balls moving forward.
