About the Epic Men’s Rush Static
The Epic Men’s Rush Static takes the athletic-shoe approach to bowling footwear and adds a design that turns heads. A black knit upper with a static text pattern and metallic gold accents stands out in any center.
Underneath the bold look, a CMEVA outsole weighs 30% less than a standard rubber outsole and a breathable knit upper keeps your feet cool, so you stay light on your feet from the first frame to the last.
How the Epic Men’s Rush Static Slides
Your slide foot is the one opposite your bowling hand, so as a right-handed bowler you slide on your left foot and push off with your right. The Rush Static has a fixed B3 microfiber slide sole on that left foot for a smooth, controlled glide, and a fixed Epic-Traction sole on the right foot for a stable plant.
The Fixed Slide Sole and Push-Off
The B3 microfiber slide sole delivers an average, controlled slide, the industry-standard friction level that works across the widest range of approaches. It is fixed, so your slide stays consistent every time with nothing to adjust.
On the push-off foot, the Epic-Traction sole grips the approach for a stable launch into every slide step, set on a CMEVA outsole and a raised rubber heel for traction and stability.
The Knit Upper and CMEVA Outsole
The knit upper is woven as a single piece, so there are no stiff panels or seams pressing against your foot, just airflow and natural flex that feels closer to a running shoe than a traditional bowling shoe. A fabric lining and padded collar add comfort through a long block.
The CMEVA (compression-molded EVA) outsole is 30% lighter than a standard rubber outsole. You take hundreds of approach steps a session, and lighter feet mean less fatigue and more consistent mechanics by game four.
