Cash App Afterpay is a buy-now-pay-later service that lets you split your BowlersMart purchase into 4 interest-free payments. You pay 25% at checkout, and the remaining 75% is automatically charged to your card every 2 weeks. There is no interest, ever, and no fees as long as you pay on time. Afterpay rebranded to Cash App Afterpay in March 2025 after Cash App’s parent company (Block) acquired Afterpay; same service, same checkout, same zero-interest promise.

At checkout, select Afterpay as your payment method. You will be redirected to Afterpay to log in or sign up (signup takes about 60 seconds). Once approved, you complete your BowlersMart order and pay the first 25% immediately. The remaining 3 payments are auto-charged to the same card every 2 weeks.

Your BowlersMart order must be between $35 and $1,000 to qualify for Cash App Afterpay. Gift cards cannot be purchased with Afterpay. Most bowling balls, bags, shoes, and accessory bundles fall easily within this range.

No. Cash App Afterpay only does a soft credit check at signup, which does not impact your credit score. Late payments may affect your ability to use Afterpay in the future, but they are not reported to credit bureaus.

Cash App Afterpay accepts US-issued Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards. American Express and Discover are not currently accepted by Afterpay (though they are accepted directly at BowlersMart checkout if you choose not to use Afterpay).

Approvals happen instantly at checkout based on Afterpay’s automated assessment. Approval is not guaranteed for every order, and the decision is made by Afterpay (not BowlersMart). Common reasons for non-approval include order size, payment history with Afterpay, or other risk factors. If your order is not approved, you can complete checkout using any other accepted payment method.

Your remaining 3 payments are auto-charged to the same card you used at checkout, every 2 weeks. You will get an email reminder 1 day before each payment. You can also manage your payment schedule, change cards, or pay early through the Cash App or by logging in at portal.afterpay.com.

If a scheduled payment fails, Afterpay will retry the charge. If the payment remains unpaid, a late fee may apply (typically a small flat fee, capped at 25% of the order or $24, whichever is less). You will not be able to make new Afterpay purchases until the late payment is resolved. There is no interest charged, even on late payments.

BowlersMart’s standard 60-day return policy applies. When we process your return, the refund is sent back to Afterpay, which adjusts your remaining payment schedule (or refunds you directly if you’ve already paid in full). You don’t need to do anything on the Afterpay side; we handle the refund coordination.

Afterpay was acquired by Block (the parent company of Cash App) and officially rebranded to Cash App Afterpay in March 2025. Your existing Afterpay account, payment history, and approved limit carried over automatically. Nothing changed about how the service works or how you pay.
