  1. Nan says:

I truly appreciate the Kids Bowl Free program and commend the organization for providing a fun, indoor activity that encourages children to stay active and develop their physical skills. However, I would like to suggest a revision to the registration process.

Currently, parents are required to submit the names of all participating children approximately three months before the program begins. Summer break, camps, and travel present a legitimate challenge for the same ten children (people), or even relatives within the same household, to consistently be available to take advantage of this opportunity on a daily or weekly basis. Unfortunately, the current program rules do not permit the substitution of registrants once names are submitted. May I respectfully suggest two possible alternatives for consideration?
    1. Allow for the substitution of children after the registration process ends.
    2. Eliminate the requirement to enter children’s names during the registration process.
Please consider this recommendation in the interest of the children’s well-being and to foster broader engagement with the program.

Over the past two years, our family has registered for this fun and engaging activity. However, vacation schedules, summer camps, and professional obligations have ultimately prevented our and our friends’ participation. We suspect we are not alone in facing this challenge. Coordinating bowling sessions among the originally registered children, within the center’s limited hours allotted for free passes, has proven difficult and has led us to reconsider future participation.

I hope the leadership team will take note of this concern and consider making the eligibility requirements more flexible. I would welcome any updates regarding this matter. I thank you for continuing to invest your company’s resources in such a valuable initiative for children and families.
