Description
Epic Evo2D Dual Dial Right Hand Bowling Shoes — Dual Dial Closure, Three Soles, Three Heels, Total Control
Two Dials. Two Fit Zones. One Shoe That Does Everything.
Most dial-closure bowling shoes use a single dial to adjust the entire upper. The Evo2D uses two. The first dial controls tension across the arch and toe box. The second dial controls the heel zone independently. That means you can lock your heel in place for zero movement during the slide step while keeping the forefoot looser for comfort — or tighten both zones equally for maximum containment. The fit possibilities that a single-dial shoe can’t achieve are exactly what the Evo2D is designed to deliver.
Below the dual dials, the Power Flex EPIC EVA midsole with dura-flex channels provides the cushioning and flex durability that competitive bowlers need across long sessions. Three interchangeable soles and three interchangeable heels give you the slide control to match any approach surface. The complete accessory package — shoe cover, shoe bag, and accessory bag for storing your extra soles and heels — means everything you need comes in one box.

🎓 Dual Dial Technology, Three-Sole System, and What They Mean for Your Game
What Two Dials Give You That One Dial Can’t
A single-dial closure applies the same tension across the entire upper. That works for many bowlers, but it forces a compromise: if you tighten enough to lock the heel, the forefoot may feel overly constrained. If you loosen enough for forefoot comfort, the heel may shift during the slide step. The Evo2D’s dual dial system eliminates that compromise entirely.
The heel dial controls the rear zone independently. Tightening the heel locks the foot in place during the deceleration phase of the slide step — when the foot goes from approach speed to a full stop at the foul line. Heel movement during that deceleration changes your balance point at release. Eliminating it means more consistent ball placement, shot after shot.
The arch/toe box dial controls the front zone. A slightly looser forefoot lets your toes splay naturally during the approach for better balance, while the secure heel keeps the shoe planted. Or tighten both zones for maximum containment during aggressive approach styles. The point is that you choose — and you can change that choice between frames if conditions or comfort demand it.
The Three-Sole, Three-Heel System
Three soles cover the practical range of slide characteristics most bowlers need. The B1 provides the most friction (shortest slide) for grippy synthetic approaches. The B3 sits in the middle as a versatile all-conditions default. The B5 provides less friction (longer slide) for wood approaches or bowlers with a slower approach tempo. Three heels — Smooth, Horseshoe, and Rippled — give you independent control over the deceleration phase of your slide.
Matching sole to approach surface eliminates one of the biggest sources of shot-to-shot inconsistency. Matching heel to your deceleration preference eliminates another. The Evo2D gives you control over both variables independently.
The Power Flex Midsole and TPU Heel Stabilizer
The Power Flex EPIC EVA midsole resists compression fatigue through repeated use cycles. Dura-flex channels at stress points allow the midsole to flex naturally rather than cracking — the failure mode that ends most bowling shoes’ useful life. The TPU external heel stabilizer wraps the rear of the shoe to lock the heel in place during slide deceleration, working in concert with the heel dial to eliminate rear-foot movement at the moment of release.

💡 BowlersMart Tips: Getting the Most from Your Dual-Dial Evo2D
Start With the B3 Sole and Smooth Heel
The B3 sole is the middle-ground default that works on most approach surfaces. The Smooth heel provides a clean, predictable deceleration. Throw your first session with this combination to establish a baseline before experimenting with the B1, B5, Horseshoe, or Rippled options.
Dial In the Heel First, Then the Forefoot
When adjusting the dual dials, start with the heel. Click the heel dial until you feel zero heel movement inside the shoe — your heel should feel planted and secure without pain or pinching. Then adjust the forefoot dial for comfort. Most bowlers find they prefer the heel zone tighter than the forefoot for the best combination of security and comfort.
Label Your Soles by Center
Keep a note of which sole and heel combination works best at each center you bowl regularly. Mark the soles with a small label or dot if needed. The Evo2D’s quick-change system means you can swap in under a minute, but only if you know which combination to reach for.
Protect the Slide Sole Between Frames
Use the included shoe cover when walking off the approach. Lane oil and debris that stick to the slide sole between shots affect your next approach. The cover keeps the sole clean and extends its useful life.
Caring for the Dual Dial Mechanisms
The dial mechanisms are durable, but they benefit from basic care. Keep the cable channels free of debris — a quick blast of compressed air after each session removes dust that can accumulate in the cable routing. If a dial feels stiff or uneven, check for debris in the cable path before assuming a mechanical issue. Store the shoes with the dials in the released (unlocked) position to avoid keeping tension on the cables during storage.
