Tolerance: +/- 0.5 inches

Example: If you request a 3″ pin placement, we will send a ball with pin placement between 2.5″ to 3.5″.

Why it matters: Pin placement affects how the ball reacts when it encounters the pins and influences the ball’s overall motion down the lane.

Tolerance: +/- 0.5 ounces

Example: If you request 3 oz top weight, we will send a ball with top weight between 2.5 oz to 3.5 oz.

Why it matters: Top weight affects the ball’s initial motion and can influence how much the ball hooks down the lane.

Tolerance: +/- 3 ounces

Example: If you request a 14 lbs 3 oz ball, we will send a ball weighing between 14 lbs 0 oz to 14 lbs 6 oz.

Why it matters: Consistent ball weight is important for maintaining your timing and release consistency.

Best Practice: If you wish for pin or top weight to be within a specific range (example: 2-3″ pin), request the halfway point of that range (example: 2.5″ pin if you require a 2-3″ pin).

Why this works: Requesting the midpoint gives us the best chance to deliver a ball that meets your requirements within our tolerance ranges.

Important Limitation: We cannot guarantee any requests made for mass bias (MB) placement.

Reason: Mass bias placement is determined during the manufacturing process and cannot be controlled during ball selection.
