Motiv Lou compares different asymmetrical bowling balls to show they are all not the same

In this video we will be seeing how different asymmetrical bowling balls are from one another! I hear all to often people say that all asyms are the same so they only have one in the bag. Is that true? HECK NO!! Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/MotivLou
Motiv Trident Horizon bowling ball
โThis thing is so fun to throw!I feel like it lets me do whatever I want to do on freshโ, stated EJ Tackett about the new Tridentโข Horizon. Utilizing a hybrid edition of Coercionโข MXC cover technology, the Tridentโข Horizon exudes strength, power, and incredible versatility.
A solid version of Coercionโข MXC powers the impressive Forgeโข Flare.โIt is so strong, that some high rev rate players are forced to use fiercely steep angles and sometimes throw it over the front of the lane to use it even on freshโ, said PBAยฎ Tour Rep Brett Spangler.โIt just makes sense to merge this phenomenal shell with a higher RG core and less aggressive finish.โAnd that is precisely the design focus behind the Trident Horizon.
Utilizing new Coercionโข MXC Hybrid Reactive cover technology, the Tridentโข Horizon digs in the oil yet still manages to continue down lane to a degree that confounds many bowlers.Tuned with a 4000 Grit LSS finish, it showcases more clearly the down lane motion potential of the Coercionโข MXC technology.
To maximize continuation, the Tridentโข Horizon utilizes the versatile asymmetric Sidewinderโข core.Featuring a higher RG and lower intermediate differential, it clears the front of the lane much easier than the more powerful solid balls for heavier oil volumes and retains energy to provide ferocious continuation.

Motiv Jackal Legacy bowling ball
When To Use:
- Speed Dominant โ The Jackal Legacy will allow speed dominant players who struggle to see mid lane read with down lane continuation to play their โA Gameโ with confidence.ย This is truly a ball made to suit the strengths of the speed dominant player.ย The Coercion MXC is already known for its incredible mid-lane read and continuation, but when powered by a strong and proven asymmetric core, the results are undeniable.ย This is truly a speed dominant playerโs dream.
- Balanced โ WIth an incredibly aggressive core/cover combination and the well known versatility of the Predator V2 core, a balanced bowler now has a ball to use when rev dominant players are using the Jackal Ghost.ย The Jackal Legacy makes a shape comparable to the Jackal Ghost, but with more total hook.ย A balanced bowler will be able to use the Jackal Legacy on fresh patterns where the Ghost is just too clean and when players who have more rev rate are striking with the Ghost.
- Rev Dominant โ The Jackal Legacy is a ball that a rev dominant bowler will carry in their bag so that they ALWAYS have something no matter how much oil they encounter.ย This is the strongest Jackal ever, and Rev Dominant players can compete with the knowledge that they always have โhook in a boxโ waiting for them with the Legacy.

Horizon is the worse ball of all Motiv balls I have ever thrown, the Legacy is the best of those three but personally I like the Flash or the Fatal Venom the best I would love to get the Red Jackal again
Great informational video. From my view I think that the legacy performed better than the others in zones 2 and 3.
Thanks for the demonstrations
and your bowling knowledge.
