About the 3G Dial Racer
The 3G Dial Racer is a performance bowling shoe from 3G’s Racer line, built around an interchangeable slide system so you can tune your slide to any approach instead of fighting it. A Freelock micro-adjustable dial tightens with an easy-grip knob and releases just as fast. A genuine smooth leather upper keeps it light and comfortable through a long block.
This is the Dial Racer Black Chrome colorway. As lanes change from house to sport to worn, you swap the slide sole instead of the shoe.
How the 3G Dial Racer Slides
Your slide foot is the one opposite your bowling hand, so as a right-handed bowler you slide on your left foot and push off with your right. The 3G Dial Racer puts an interchangeable slide sole on the slide foot and a fixed traction sole on the push foot, so you get a tunable glide and a stable, grippy plant.
The Interchangeable Slide System
The 3G Dial Racer ships with 3G’s Formula S10 slide sole with a Formula S18 in the kit and uses a quick pull-tab system to change the slide sole in seconds. Take more slide for tacky approaches or less for slick ones, all without buying a new shoe.
The traction sole on the push foot is fixed for a consistent, powerful plant, so only the slide is adjustable.
The Upper, Insole, and Fit
A genuine smooth leather upper keeps the shoe breathable and supportive. A removable Ortholite insole adds cushioning.
In the box: a shoe carry bag, a shoe cover, an extra Formula S18 slide sole, and a Formula H15 heel, alongside the standard S10 sole and H3 and H11 heels.
