900 Global Vengeance Returns Bowling Ball

A Cleaner, Longer Take on Relentless Strength

About the Vengeance Returns

The 900 Global Vengeance Returns takes everything that made the Vengeance a benchmark and gives it more length and angle. It keeps the strong symmetric Blast A.I. Core, the highest-differential core in the 900 Global line, but wraps it in the RB 91 Hybrid cover at a Power Edge polish for a cleaner read through the front of the lane.

Where the original Vengeance reads early and strong at a sanded finish, the Vengeance Returns conserves energy through the heads and saves it for a more pronounced move at the breakpoint, in a sharp Navy, Ash, and Smoke cosmetic. It is the length-and-angle complement to the Vengeance, the ball you reach for as medium-heavy oil starts to transition and you need to get the ball down the lane without giving up the backend.

Understanding the 900 Global Blast A.I. Core and 900 Global RB 91 Hybrid Reactive

900 Global built the Vengeance Returns for strength with more length. Specifically, the symmetric Blast A.I. Core carries the highest differential in the line for heavy flare and a strong, readable shape, while the RB 91 Hybrid cover at a Power Edge polish conserves energy through the fronts and stores it for a more pronounced backend. As a result, it clears the heads more easily than the sanded Vengeance and finishes with more angle, which makes it the medium to medium-heavy option in the pair. The full per-weight specifications are listed below.

The Highest-Differential Symmetric Core in the 900 Global Line

At the heart of the Vengeance Returns is the symmetric Blast A.I. Core, the same engine as the original Vengeance and the highest-differential core in the 900 Global lineup. At 15 lb it measures RG 2.47 and a strong .055 differential, numbers that produce heavy flare and a powerful, readable motion, with a single-density shape that reads the mid-lane strongly while storing energy for the back end.

On the Returns, that strong core is paired with a cleaner, polished cover, so the heavy flare comes with extra length and a sharper finish. As a symmetric core, the Blast reads the lane the same way shot after shot, giving you a dependable, repeatable shape that simply gets a little farther down the lane and changes direction more strongly off the dry.

A Polished Hybrid for Clean Length and a Pronounced Backend

The Vengeance Returns wraps that core in the RB 91 Hybrid Reactive coverstock, finished at Power Edge polish. It is the hybrid version of the RB 91 cover (the original Vengeance is a solid), and the polished surface conserves energy through the front of the lane, so the Returns pushes cleanly through the heads, then makes a stronger, more pronounced move when it reaches the friction. It reads later and sharper than the sanded Vengeance.

That length-and-angle shape is what makes the Returns so useful as the lanes transition. When the original Vengeance starts reading too early, the polished RB 91 gets the ball down the lane and still finishes with the strong backend the Blast core supplies. Leave it polished for the most length and angle, or take the surface down at your pro shop for an earlier, stronger read when the oil increases.
