What should I know about the Dexter Pro Am II?
Description
Performance Bowling Shoes
About the Dexter Pro Am II
The Dexter Pro Am II is a classic step-up performance shoe. Set up for a single hand, it pairs a slide foot built for a long, controlled glide with a gripping push-off foot for a stable plant.
A soft, fabric-lined man-made upper with padding keeps it comfortable through long sessions.
How the Dexter Pro Am II Slides
The Pro Am II is a handed shoe: one foot slides on a fixed S8 microfiber sole and the other grips with a rubber push-off sole.
How the Slide System Works
The slide foot uses a fixed S8 microfiber slide sole for a long, consistent glide, while the traction foot uses a rubber push-off sole that grips for a stable, powerful plant.
The soles are not interchangeable, so choose the hand that matches your delivery when you order.
Upper and Fit
A soft, fabric-lined man-made upper with padding keeps the Pro Am II comfortable through long blocks.
A traditional blucher lace-up gives a secure, adjustable fit.

Good to Know Before You Buy
BowlersMart Tips: Getting the Most From the Dexter Pro Am II
Dialing In Your Slide
Match the slide sole to the floor: a higher-number sole gives more glide on a sticky house pattern, a lower number grips more on a slick tournament shot. Higher number means more slide. Have sole and heel swaps done at your pro shop for an even, consistent finish.
Fit and Sizing
Order your normal size, or go down a half for a snugger, more consistent slide.
Care
Keep the slide sole clean and dry, and store spare soles flat. Use a slide-foot shoe cover when you step off the approach so the sole stays consistent.
