What should I know about the Dexter Ricky V?
Description
Athletic Bowling Shoes for Right or Left-Handed Bowlers
About the Dexter Ricky V
The Dexter Ricky V is a comfortable, great-looking athletic shoe from Dexter’s DexLite line and a perfect step up from rentals. Universal S8 microfiber slide soles on both shoes give you a consistent slide whether you bowl right- or left-handed.
A lightweight DexLite outsole keeps the shoe light and flexible, and a soft, durable man-made upper feels broken in from the first frame.
How the Dexter Ricky V Slides
The Ricky V is a universal athletic shoe: both shoes carry a slide sole, so there is no wrong foot and it works for either hand.
How the Slide System Works
Both shoes ship with a fixed S8 microfiber slide sole, so a right-handed bowler slides on the left foot and a left-handed bowler slides on the right, with no setup required. The S8 sole gives a smooth, consistent glide on typical house conditions.
Because both shoes slide, there is no handedness to choose and nothing to swap, which makes the Ricky V a simple, reliable pick.
Upper and Fit
A soft, durable man-made upper with a toe bumper keeps the Ricky V comfortable and protected against toe drag, and the lightweight DexLite outsole adds flexibility.
A lace-to-toe closure gives you an adjustable, secure fit across the foot.

BowlersMart Tips: Getting the Most From the Dexter Ricky V
Dialing In Your Slide
The universal slide sole is fixed on both shoes, so there is nothing to swap. If you want a bit more or less slide, a slide-on shoe slider or slide conditioner lets you fine-tune the approach.
Fit and Sizing
Order your normal size, or go down a half for a snugger fit.
Care
Keep the slide soles clean and dry. Wipe the uppers with a soft cloth and let the shoes air out between sessions.
