What should I know about the Dexter THE 9?
Description
BOA Performance Bowling Shoes with Total Interchangeable Soles
About the Dexter THE 9
Dexter’s T·H·E 9 (Toehold Hyperflex Engineering) line pairs a patented symmetrical, universal total-interchangeable sole with a refined, performance build. Traction and slide pads live on both feet and either pad works on either foot without trimming.
A breathable textile upper with reflective TPU film keeps THE 9 Stryker light and locked-in.
How the Dexter THE 9 Slides
THE 9 uses a patented symmetrical, universal interchangeable sole: slide and traction pads plus heels are removable on both shoes and right or left convertible without trimming.
How THE 9 System Works
Both shoes carry a THS7 slide pad and THT2 traction pad in the Hyperflex channels, so you can set the shoe up for a right- or left-handed bowler and swap pads without trimming as the lanes change.
A versatile universal heel system takes the full Dexter heel range, ships with H5 and H2 Ultra Brakz heels, so you can fine-tune brake and slide.
Upper and Fit
A breathable textile upper with reflective TPU film keeps THE 9 Stryker light and locked-in.
The BOA Li2 Multidirectional dial with adjustable cross straps over the foot locks in a fast, precise, repeatable fit.

Who This Shoe Is Right For
Good to Know Before You Buy
BowlersMart Tips: Getting the Most From the Dexter THE 9
Dialing In Your Slide
Match the slide sole to the floor: a higher-number sole gives more glide on a sticky house pattern, a lower number grips more on a slick tournament shot. Higher number means more slide. Have sole and heel swaps done at your pro shop for an even, consistent finish.
Fit and Sizing
Order your normal size, or go down a half for a snugger, more consistent slide.
Care
Keep the slide sole clean and dry, and store spare soles flat. Use a slide-foot shoe cover when you step off the approach so the sole stays consistent.
