What should I know about the Dexter SST 8 BOA MC?
Description
BOA Performance Bowling Shoes with Total Interchangeable Soles
About the Dexter SST 8 BOA MC
The Dexter SST 8 BOA MC is built on Dexter’s flagship SST platform with total interchangeable sole construction, giving serious bowlers full control over slide, traction, and handedness.
A soft man-made upper with micro-perf vents and a form-fitting neoprene bootie give it a sock-like fit, and the BOA Fit System dial locks that fit in.
How the Dexter SST 8 BOA MC Slides
The SST 8 BOA MC uses Dexter’s total interchangeable sole construction: the soles and heels are removable on both shoes and right or left convertible.
How the SST System Works
Both shoes carry interchangeable slide and traction soles plus removable heels, so you can set it up for a right- or left-handed bowler and swap between them as the lanes change. It ships with an S8 slide sole and H5 heel on the slide foot, and a Goodyear T2 traction sole with an H2 Ultra Brakz heel on the push-off foot.
Have sole and heel swaps done at your pro shop to fine-tune your glide for any condition.
Upper and Fit
A soft man-made upper with micro-perf vents keeps air moving, a neoprene bootie construction gives a comfortable, sock-like fit, and a leather toe drag protector stops slide sole peel back.
The BOA Fit System dial replaces traditional laces for a fast, micro-adjustable, repeatable fit.

BowlersMart Tips: Getting the Most From the Dexter SST 8 BOA MC
Dialing In Your Slide
Match the slide sole to the floor: a higher-number sole gives more glide on a sticky house pattern, a lower number grips more on a slick tournament shot. Higher number means more slide. Have sole and heel swaps done at your pro shop for an even, consistent finish.
Fit and Sizing
Order your normal size, or go down a half for a snugger, more consistent slide.
Care
Keep the slide sole clean and dry, and store spare soles flat. Use a slide-foot shoe cover when you step off the approach so the sole stays consistent.
