The Epic Apollo Dial X pairs a single Epic Dial closure with the most complete slide kit in the Epic line: three slide soles and three heels, the same kit that ships with the Epic Chroma, so you can tune both your glide and your stop for any approach.
It arrives complete: the shoes, three slide soles, three heels, one slide-foot shoe cover, a shoe bag, and an accessory bag for your soles and heels, all in one box.
This colorway wraps the shoe in a smooth brown upper with tonal stitching and black diamond mesh cutouts down the vamp, finished with a black dial and cable guides, a black outsole and an iridescent e swirl logo on the heel.
How the Epic Apollo Dial X Louis Brown Slides
Your slide foot is the one opposite your bowling hand, so as a right-handed bowler you slide on your left foot and push off with your right. The Apollo Dial X puts the interchangeable slide sole and heel on that left foot for a controlled glide to the line, and a rubber traction sole on the right foot for a stable plant.
Three Slide Soles and Three Heels
The Apollo Dial X ships with three slide soles (B1, B3, B5) and three heels (White Smooth, Horseshoe, and Rippled), so you can run more glide on a sticky house floor or more grip on a slick tournament pattern, and fine-tune your stop with the heel.
The soles and heels pop off and swap in about a minute and are cross-brand compatible, with a little trimming if needed. With the full kit in the included accessory bag, you have a setup for every approach you will see.
The Epic Dial and the Upper
A single Epic Dial on the instep draws the cable lacing evenly across the top of the foot with one twist, so you get a consistent hold every frame and no laces to retie between games.
The upper is a smooth, leather-look finish with diamond-shaped mesh cutouts along the vamp, a padded textile collar and tongue, and a pull tab at the heel to help you get the shoe on.
