Radical Katana Slash Bowling Ball

The Katana Slash is another solid addition to the Radical product line with a focus on backend reaction. Radical has created a tremendous buzz with the original Katana and its incredibly angular motion, and I am happy to report that the Slash takes angular motion to a whole new level.

We kept the same strong asymmetrical core design as in the original Katana, and wrapped it with an even stronger additive package making the Forged cover stock even more aggressive.The new Forged 2 cover contains additives that make the Slash a backend monster on heavier oil patterns. Creating a ball that offers this much angle on heavy oil was no easy task, but I am confident that the Katana Slash delivers as the most angular ball in the Radical line. With the Slash you get great performance, lots of backend reaction, and great shelf appeal on longer and heavier patterns. The combination of great performance and fantastic shelf appeal makes the Katana Slash a sure winner for the start of the tournament season.

I will note that our testers have all commented on how they were able to open up the lane and get a great angle to the pocket and great recovery even on the heavier oiled patterns. Continuation was the common theme from all the testers. They saw the same quick change of direction they loved from the original Katana but were very excited by the additional hook from the Katana Slash. This cover makes the Katana Slash the most responsive high hook rated ball Radical has ever released.
