The Archive 2.0 takes the proven Archive foundation and refines it. The asymmetric core gives it a high differential and a strong mass bias for plenty of flare and a defined breakpoint, while the M56 Pearl cover at a 3000-grit sanded finish lets the ball clean through the heads before it makes its move. It is a high-performance asymmetric built for length without giving up backend punch.

The Legendary Archive Block, Built for Flare and Shape
At the heart of the Archive 2.0 is the asymmetric Archive Core. At 15 lb it measures a 2.55 RG, a strong .051 differential, and a high .034 mass bias, a combination that produces high track flare and a defined, asymmetric breakpoint. The strong differential and high mass bias give the ball real flare potential and a pronounced, continuous move at the spot.
Because the Archive core is asymmetric with a high mass bias, layout has a strong influence on the reaction, so your pro shop can tune the pin and mass-bias position to control how early and how angular the ball plays. The Archive 2.0 wraps that core in the new M56 Pearl Reactive coverstock at a 3000-grit sanded finish. Unlike an aggressive solid that grabs the lane early, the M56 Pearl gives the Archive 2.0 length without sacrificing backend motion. That makes it best on medium to medium-heavy oil. When the volume gets very high or the pattern is fresh and demanding, a strong solid reactive will read earlier. Leave the M56 cover at its 3000-grit sanded box finish for clean length, or adjust the surface at your pro shop to match the lane.
