To showcase the backend potential, we selected several variations of the Reactor family of coverstocks as they are the most responsive in the industry. As we worked through testing, it was clear that R2S was the best option for this bowling ball. “You want better carry? Then you need angle into the pocket. The Trend is what you have been waiting for,” says Jason Belmonte. And no matter what your rev rate or how many hands you use to bowl, the Trend will give you a quicker response, more defined breakpoint, just what you need to carry better.

#4 - Storm Parallax Bowling Ball

Coming in at #4, the new Storm Parallax bowling ball! The Parallax features the Aeroflo Core and a Funnel Cake scent (Yum!!). Hale reviewed the Storm Parallax and said, “I was very surprised how much this ball hooked I originally thought it was going to be super clean with a bit of back end but boy was I wrong. This ball is not overly clean but wow does it store energy going down the lane. I found bowling a few games with it because of the cover stock I could actually stick with it for longer without killing the pattern. It just keeps going once it goes off the back of the pattern.”

Customers have rated the Storm Parallax bowling ball a solid 4.96/5 rating in overall satisfaction.

#2 - Storm fast pitch Bowling Ball

Coming in at #2, the new Storm Fast Pitch bowling ball! The Fast Pitch features the Controll XL Solid Urethane coverstock and Tour Block weight block. Balls in the urethane classification can be sensitive to the weight blocks put inside them. The perfect position of the RG, the proper amount of differential, symmetric vs asymmetric – these all play a vital role in the motion in this type of ball. Dialing in the precise measure of each was no easy feat, but we were up to the challenge. Urethanes are meant to bring back the breakpoint to control shorter patterns. But when the RG is too low, the end result is simply too much of a good thing. The higher RG, medium differential Tour Block weight block keeps the Fast Pitch reading the lane exactly where its needed.
