Storm Bowling Ball Cores
Every Storm core in a ball we sell, with its RG, differential and mass bias, on one map
Storm puts 22 different cores into the 49 Storm balls we have in stock today: 12 symmetric and 10 asymmetric. The newest is the Storm Radius Core (the Concept line). The strongest flare comes from the Storm Centripetal HD A.I. Core (differential 0.056), and the earliest-revving is the Storm Centripetal HD A.I. Core (RG 2.460). Every core below links to its own page with specs by weight and the balls built on it.

Questions bowlers ask
What cores does Storm use in its bowling balls?
22 different cores are in the Storm balls we stock today: Surge Core, C3 Centripetal Control Core, Solarion AI Core, Atmos A.I. Core, C3 + AI Core, Element Max AI Core, Element Tour A.I. Core, Velocity Core and others. 12 are symmetric and 10 asymmetric. Each core’s page lists its RG, differential and mass bias by weight.
Which Storm core has the most flare?
The Storm Centripetal HD A.I. Core, with a differential of 0.056 at 15 lb, the highest of Storm’s current cores. Higher differential means more flare potential and a stronger, more angular motion.
Which Storm core revs up earliest?
The Storm Centripetal HD A.I. Core, with an RG of 2.460 at 15 lb, the lowest of Storm’s current cores. A low RG core starts revving sooner and reads the midlane earlier.
Are Storm cores symmetric or asymmetric?
Both. Of the 22 Storm cores in stock, 12 are symmetric (one pin marker, a smooth continuous arc) and 10 are asymmetric (pin and PSA markers, a stronger and more angular backend).
What is Storm’s newest core?
The Storm Radius Core, in the Concept line, first sold here in February 2026. It is symmetric with an RG of 2.610 and a differential of 0.020 at 15 lb.
