Hammer Purple Solid Reactive VS Hammer Purple Urethane Bowling Ball Review

Welcome back to another Modern Bowling Ball Review! We have our ball tester Cristian Azcona showcasing the new Hammer Purple Solid Reactive!

Hammer Purple Solid Reactive Bowling Ball

The new Purple Solid Reactive is an exciting and unique ball, just as the Purple Pearl Urethane ball is. The Purple Pearl Urethane ball sells because it performs, and there’s nothing like it in bowling; the Purple Solid Reactive will be successful for the same reason. The new Purple Solid Reactive started as an experiment to see how a strong reactive shell would perform around the high RG and low differential LED core, and the results were remarkable. The core is the exact same as the urethane model; however, the numbers are different due to the density of the reactive shell versus the urethane; this raises the differential and creates more flare, producing a stronger and more angular backend motion. The Purple Solid Reactive will be useful for bowlers who find urethane too weak when others are scoring with it, and higher rev players will love it across a wide range of conditions.

Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane Bowling Ball

Some skeptics said we couldn’t make a Black Widow, and it just happens to be one of the hottest balls on the market six months after its release. They’ll say the same thing about the Purple Pearl Urethane, and they’ll be wrong again. We realize the importance of this ball and have done extensive testing to make sure it is precisely what bowlers expect.

The core and cover materials are all the same, as is the reaction. The one difference you’ll notice is that we now offer the Purple Pearl Urethane in 12 and 13 pounds.

FCC Rating (14.5) The overall strength of the Purple Urethane is perfect for medium to light oil patterns. This throwback will really excel on shorter oil patterns. FINISH (9) The 500/1000/2000 AbralonTM finish

CORE (2) Our new LED core design is a modern version of the traditional light bulb shape that was so popular back in the day.

COVER (3.5) Our Urethane cover is the main ingredient in this masterpiece. Unlike modern covers that produce a violent reaction at the breakpoint, this proven staple is all about giving the user ultimate control of the entire lane. Hammer Purple Pearl Urethane The immediate success of our real, thick shelled Black Urethane had our fans begging for more! To satisfy their desires, we have developed the perfect pearlized, thick shelled coverstock to compliment the Black Urethane. Old school technology with new school hitting power. Because nothing hits like a Hammer.

I bought this ball and had it drilled with a center pin…..seems like it doesn’t finish well. Do I need to move the pin placment?
