The Dexter S8 is the default slide sole that comes standard on every Dexter SST bowling shoe except THE 9. It sits in the middle of Dexter’s slide scale — making it the go-to choice for bowlers who want reliable, predictable sliding on most approach conditions.

Where the S8 Fits on the Slide Scale

Dexter’s interchangeable sole system ranges from S2 (least slide) to S12 (most slide). The S8 lands at the middle of the scale, providing standard/medium slide best suited for most approach conditions.

How to Install

Peel off your current sole, place the S8 on your shoe, trace the outline, and trim with scissors for a perfect fit. For best results, clean the sole area on your shoe before applying. Keep soles dry and test on the approach before bowling.
