Motiv Bowling Ball Core Library

Every symmetric and asymmetric core Motiv has put into a ball, cataloged in one searchable reference. Click any core to see its specs, the balls built around it, and how it shapes ball motion on the lane.

CORE BASICS

Symmetric vs Asymmetric Cores

Two core types, two different ball motion profiles. Knowing which type you are looking at changes how the ball lays out and how it moves on the lane.

UNIFORM SHAPE

Symmetric Cores

Have only a pin marker. Produce smoother, more predictable motion. Easier to control, ideal for benchmark and arsenal foundations.

Example Motiv models: Tank, Venom, Trident
UNEVEN SHAPE

Asymmetric Cores

Have both a pin AND a PSA (Preferential Spin Axis) marker. Generate stronger, more defined backend motion. Standard in modern flagship balls.

Example Motiv models: Jackal, Forge, Pride
