DV8 Diva Pearl Bowling Ball
“Wow, don’t let the color fool you this ball has plenty of punch. Looks great and hits like a truck on drier conditions.’”
~ Dave Olm – BowlersMart Tampa Manager
Ball Motion
Finished with a Royal Shine Finish, the Diva Pearl skids easily through the front and mid-lane turning over hard on the backend providing a strong flip motion showing the pins who’s boss. The Class 5F coverstock has just the right attitude on medium to light oil lane conditions.
Reaction Setup
The DV8 Diva Pearl can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for bowling balls with symmetric cores.
Ball Maintenance
To reduce oil absorption and remove dirt from the surface of the ball, clean your ball with a cleaner designed for reactive bowling balls after each session.

My husband got me this ball because I always teased him about his DV8 Diva…Men shouldn’t be so proud of throwing a pink ball. I personally think my Diva Pearl looks much prettier. Rolls really well. Gets a lot of length and still hooks on the backend. I don’t hook it as much as the men, but it works for me

What I was looking for with this ball:
This is one of the first DV8 Balls I’ve ever thrown, so I just put my favorite symmetric ball layout on it to get an idea. I was thinking it would be a long and stronger arcing ball for me.
What I got:
I got a lot of length out of Diva Pearl but not much movement on the backend standing 20 playing out to 10.. After I moved my feet right 4 boards and my target right 2 boards and bumped up against the friction I found some great area to play the lanes with.
What I really liked was when I did move and find the friction, i didn’t get over reaction down lane. I’m so used to weaker pearl bowling balls really sparking off the friction and being too angular down lane that my initial thought process is to stay in and just move my target right to find friction..I feel like the Diva Pearl adds some separation between the bowling balls i’m throwing, which is something I’ve been missing for a few years now..
Final thoughts:
I feel like Diva Pearl will have a place in my bag for league and tournament play.. What I’m used to with mid performance balls is a slightly weaker motion down lane when I’m forced to move into a deeper zone of the lane after a few games of play.. I feel like Diva Pearl will allow me to stay right longer without sacrificing hitting power and having to open my angles too wide..
Very Impressed..even though it’s pink.

COMMENTS
Likes: Ball gets to the breakpoint with ease and is pretty angular and is about 3-4 boards weaker than the dude.
Dislikes: Went backwards on volume. But was totally expected
Im a little late to the party on the DV8 equipment so bear with me. I drilled this pink and silver beauty a few weeks ago. So far here is what I see from this ball. It gets down the lanes with ease as it glides through the front of the lanes. Ball responds to the friction pretty well. Now the nice part is its no completely sideways when it see’s the friction so its not uncontrollable movement on the back part of the lane. What people are saying its a great compliment to the dude or diva.Well there is no blowing smoke in that saying. Its a great 1,2 punch.

Diva Pearl is a really sharp looking release from the DV8 line. It comes in a hot pink/silver combination that really pops off of the ball return next to everyone else’s black and blue balls. On the lane, I saw a very predictable, easy to control motion from the Diva Pearl. It’s definitely not the sharpest backend that you can buy, but that’s not what everyone is looking for. If you’re looking for a ball that you can play closer to the dry boards with, and look good doing it, Diva Pearl would be a great choice.
