National bowling event coming to Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley

ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) — A national bowling event is slated to come to the Green Bay area next year.

The U.S. Open for the 2021 United States Bowling Congress Championship Tournament is tentatively scheduled to be held at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley for Feb. 21-28.

The U.S. Open will feature 108 of the world’s best bowlers. The list includes leaders on the PBA Tour points list and top performers at USBC events and PBA majors.

The tournament schedule and live BowlTV coverage will kick off with the USBC Team USA Trials during the first week of January.

The finals of the event will be broadcast on national TV on FOX.

More details on the tournament will be released in the coming months.
