900 Global Wolverine Dark Moss vs A Storm Great The HyRoad Pearl | Bowling Ball Review

The Storm Hyroad Pearl has been a staple in the arsenals of Storm fans for YEARS! So how does the all new Wolverine Dark Moss stack up?!

900 Global Wolverine Dark Moss Bowling Ball

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the woods…the Wolverine™ Dark Moss attacks!! Featuring the incredibly versatile S70™ Pearl Cover with an all new finish, this animal will handle more oil than its predecessor while not sacrificing any backend. The Lacerate 2.0™ Core is the premier weight block within the Global line for moving in and opening your angles. Max backend never looked so good.

The Lacerate 2.0 Core is the combination of two of the most successful cores of all time for Global. The top portion is that of the Honey Badger, while the bottom portion is that of the Badger. By merging these two amazing cores into one and adding a dense flip block, we have created an engine that will change directions unbelievably sharp. When combined with the super clean cover, the Lacerate 2.0 core will absolutely tear the back part of the lanes to pieces!

The venerable S70 Cover, in its pearl form, will ignore the front part of the lane and unleash it’s full power on the backend. By offering it in a pearl version we have ensured that this ball will not hook early. This cover has been purposely engineered to help you combat dry heads and tighter backends. Feel free to move in and let this ball do its thing on medium conditions.

Storm HyRoad Pearl Bowling Ball

The number one factor of ball motion is coverstock. Just one shot with the new Hy-Road Pearl and youll see the difference. The R2S pearl reactive shell floats easily through the front, maintaining ball speed as much as possible, waiting to really cut loose on the backends!

Matching the core to the coverstock is equally important, though. That is why the same Inverted Fe Technology weight block will be carried over into the new Hy-Road Pearl. Pairing the R2S Pearl reactive coverstock with the dynamic Fe weight block ensures that your favorite layouts in your previous Road series balls will be just as effective in the new Hy-Road Pearl. You see, Storm recognizes your needs as a bowler because we, too, are bowlers! And just like you, we want every advantage on the lanes that we can get.

Dont forget that the thicker shell of the Hy-Road series makes a difference, too. The amount of energy transferred to the pins at impact is greater, translating to unmatched power at the pocket. Its part of what makes the Hy-Road one of the most special balls in the history of bowling.
