The GB4 is a very remarkable ball. They work well for me in a majority of alleys.I have bowled for 64 years and at one time was a ball tester with certain companies. The GB4 is a great runner on the alleys, it breaks nice and will scatter the pins. With this particular series of GB’s it is hard to turn down as a great arsenal ball, and one of my benchmark balls. They have improved greatly through the past few years and even when I had to go down to a 14 pounder due to my psionic nerve, this ball is a wonder for me. You may laugh, but my arsenal consists of almost 17 balls, and each one I use for specific alleys where I do a lot of tournaments and league bowling.. I use certain brands of balls as starters and closers in match tournaments (9 pin no-tap,seniors, singles and doubles) or league bowling. I could give you my top 10 balls through the years, but in this reply I am talking the GB4. It is a must-have if you’re a slow thrower or medium rev bowler. Its great for a good benchmark ball to add to your arsenal.
