DV8 Bowling Ball Core Library
Every symmetric and asymmetric core DV8 has put into a ball, cataloged in one searchable reference. Click any core to see its specs, the balls built around it, and how it shapes ball motion on the lane.
Symmetric vs Asymmetric Cores
Two core types, two different ball motion profiles. Knowing which type you are looking at changes how the ball lays out and how it moves on the lane.
Symmetric Cores
Have only a pin marker. Produce smoother, more predictable motion. Easier to control, ideal for benchmark and arsenal foundations.
Asymmetric Cores
Have both a pin AND a PSA (Preferential Spin Axis) marker. Generate stronger, more defined backend motion. Standard in modern flagship balls.
